Standard
ISO 9001. Quality management that shares its foundation.
ISO 9001 is the international standard for quality management. It follows the same Annex SL structure as ISO 27001 and NEN 7510, so if you already carry one of those, the groundwork for context, leadership, planning, support, audit and review is largely in place. Trustbird adds what quality asks for on top: your processes, your customers and a steady cycle of improvement.
- The same clause 4 to 10 structure as ISO 27001
- Processes described once, used everywhere
- Improvement actions tracked to completion
What Trustbird brings to ISO 9001
Where information security looks at risks to data and systems, quality looks at how reliably your processes deliver what customers need. Both work from the same picture of your organization.
Process descriptions
Describe your core processes with inputs, outputs, owners and measures. The same process descriptions support your information security work.
Quality objectives
Set measurable objectives, assign owners and record progress. Results feed directly into the management review.
Customer satisfaction
Record how you gather customer feedback, what it tells you and which actions follow from it.
Nonconformities and corrective actions
Log complaints, findings and deviations, analyze the cause and follow up each corrective action until it is closed.
Risks and opportunities
The risk register you already keep also holds quality risks and opportunities, each linked to the processes they affect.
One audit and review cycle
Plan internal audits and the management review for all your standards together, from the same findings and the same data.
Adding ISO 9001
-
01
Adopt the standard

-
02
Describe your processes
Capture how you sell, build, deliver and support, in your own words.
-
03
Set objectives and measures
Agree what good quality means for your customers and how you measure it.
-
04
Review and improve
Run the internal audit and management review, and track the improvements that come out of them.
Frequently asked questions
- How much of ISO 9001 overlaps with ISO 27001?
- The management system clauses 4 to 10 follow the same structure. The subject differs: quality instead of information security. Much of the organizational groundwork can be reused.
- Can I start with ISO 9001 alone?
- Yes. Trustbird builds the shared core for whichever standard you start with. If you add ISO 27001 later, that core is already there.
- Does Trustbird decide whether we meet a requirement?
- No. The AI can propose texts and point out gaps, but a named person in your organization decides. The certification body makes the final assessment.
