Trustbird is a hosted management system for IT and software providers that carry ISO 27001 plus a sector standard such as NEN 7510. We build it in the Netherlands, together with organizations that go through certification audits themselves.

Why Trustbird exists
Many software providers carry ISO 27001 and then add a sector standard. The second standard often becomes a second project: another set of documents, another risk register, another round of evidence. Most of that work was already done.
The same work, done twice
ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and ISO 9001 share the Annex SL structure. Context, leadership, planning, support, operation, evaluation and improvement are largely the same. Trustbird builds that shared core once.
Compliance alongside another job
In most of the organizations we work for, there is no compliance department. Someone handles it alongside development, operations or management. Trustbird is built for that person.
Business language over standards language
You talk about your organization: who decides on access to customer data, which suppliers host what. Trustbird translates that into clauses and controls.
AI proposes, people decide
The assistant interviews, drafts and checks evidence. It never publishes policy, accepts a risk or marks a requirement as met. A named person makes every decision.
No claims we cannot back
Trustbird does not guarantee certification, give legal advice or replace an auditor. We only describe what the product does, and we do not show logos of organizations that are not customers.
A calm tone
No red dashboards and no alarm. Trustbird tells you what is open, why it matters and what the next step is, in plain sentences.

Built with design partners
Trustbird is being built with two certified design partners: one holds ISO 27001, the other ISO 27001 and NEN 7510. They use the product as it takes shape, including a real audit.

From one internal model
We design from your organization: people, processes, systems, data and suppliers. Each standard is a view on that model, not a separate module.

In our own words
Standards texts are protected by copyright. Trustbird uses its own wording, mapped to clause and control numbers, so you work in clear language.

Trustbird is a Dutch company. The service is hosted in the European Union and the data of every customer is kept strictly apart.

- Trustbird is a company based in the Netherlands. We build the product with two design partners that are certified themselves, so our choices are tested against a real audit.
- Is Trustbird open source?
- No. Trustbird started in 2026 as an open source project, and that model was abandoned in September 2026. Trustbird is now a hosted service with closed source. There is no self-hosted edition.
