Onboarding
Last checked on
Onboarding shows the paid onboarding package of your workspace: the planning with its milestones week by week, who your onboarder is, and the two payments. An owner can choose a package here while one is available.
Why this protects your organisation
Setting up a management system for the first time takes time, and it is easy to lose momentum between the kick-off and the first audit. A package gives you an onboarder from Trustbird and a fixed planning, so you know what comes next and when. It is guidance, not a guarantee: whether you are certified is decided by your certification body.
Steps
- Open Onboarding in the Workspace group.
- As an owner without a package, read the Onboarding packages and choose the one that fits.
- Fill in your billing details on Billing first if you have not done so, then pay the first payment.
- Follow the Planning: your onboarder ticks off each milestone when it is done.
- Pay the second payment once your onboarder has delivered the trajectory. You receive a link by email.
There are two packages, Start and Plus. Start is meant for a small organisation working towards ISO 27001. Plus is for ISO 27001 together with NEN 7510, or for a larger organisation. Each package card shows the price excluding VAT, the number of weeks and, where it applies, the maximum number of employees.
What you see once you have a package
- Status: waiting for the first payment, running, delivered or completed.
- Your onboarder: the person from Trustbird who guides you. Until someone is assigned, it says so.
- Started and Planned end: known after the first payment.
- Planning: six milestones spread over the weeks. Kick-off, Scope, Risk workshop, Policies, Statement of Applicability and a Readiness check before the audit.
Payments
A package is paid in two parts: half at the start and half at delivery. Each payment gets its own invoice, which you find on Billing. Only owners see the Payments section.
If it does not work
Onboarding is not in my menu
Without a package, only an owner sees this screen, and only while packages can be bought. Once your workspace has a package, every member and advisor can follow its planning here.
I cannot pay for the package
Every payment is invoiced, so the billing details on Billing must be saved first. Use the link To billing details on this screen.
I chose the wrong package
As long as the first payment has not been made, an owner can use Choose another package. That withdraws the unpaid package so you can pick another one.
