Reviews is where you plan when someone takes a fresh look at a document, risk, supplier, measure or piece of evidence. When you complete a review, Trustbird schedules the next one a year later.

Why this protects your organisation

Agreements go stale. A supplier moves to another hosting provider, a procedure no longer matches how the team works, a risk has grown. Planning fixed moments when someone deliberately looks again means you notice before a customer or an auditor does. ISO 27001 expects you in several places to revisit your documents, risks and measures at planned intervals.

Steps

  1. Open Reviews in the Measures and evidence group and click the button to plan a new review.
  2. Under Record type, choose what should be reviewed: Documents, Risks, Suppliers, Measures or Evidence.
  3. Under Record, choose the specific document, risk or other record.
  4. Choose a Reviewer and a Due date, then save.
  5. Once the review is done, click Complete in the list and use Notes to record what was checked and what came out of it.

What happens when you complete a review

Completing does three things at once. The review gets the status Completed, with your notes. The record you looked at gets a new review date. And Trustbird immediately schedules the next review twelve months later, with the same reviewer. The cycle keeps running without anyone having to plan it by hand each time.

The reviewer

You choose the reviewer from the people listed under People. When completing, you can pick a different reviewer, for example if a colleague took it over.

What the list shows

The list is sorted by due date, with the next one at the top. A review that is due or overdue is highlighted. You can filter by Status. Anything due within 30 days or overdue also appears under Due for review in the Today group, with what to do and why it matters.

If it does not work

The Record list is empty or greyed out

Choose a Record type first. If the list stays empty, your workspace has no records of that type yet.

I do not see Complete on a review

Complete only appears on reviews with the status Scheduled. A completed review stays in the list with its notes.

I cannot plan a review

Planning is for the workspace owner and members. An advisor needs edit rights on the Risks and controls module.
