Who is responsible

Trustbird is responsible for processing the data collected through this website. Questions can go to support@trustbird.com.

Signing up for updates

If you sign up for updates, we record your email address, company name, job title, the language you viewed the site in, the page you came from, any campaign parameters in the URL and the time you signed up.

The legal basis is consent. You give it by filling in the form and clicking the confirmation link in the email. Without that confirmation we do not add you.

We use these details only to follow up on your application as a design partner and to keep you informed about Trustbird. We do not sell them and do not share them with third parties for their own purposes.

Retention

If you do not confirm your sign-up, we delete your details after thirty days. If you unsubscribe, we delete them within thirty days. If you stay subscribed, we keep them until you unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing and access

Every email contains an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. You can also request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data at support@trustbird.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Language

The site exists in English and Dutch. If your browser asks for Dutch, we take you to the Dutch version of the page. At the bottom of every page you can switch language yourself.

We remember that choice for a year in a functional cookie named trustbird_locale. It holds nothing but nl or en. The cookie is needed to show the site in the language you asked for, goes to no third party and is not used to track you, which is why we do not ask consent for it. If you clear your browser data, the site starts from your browser language again.

Visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. They are loaded only after you agree through the consent bar. If you do not agree or you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your IP address is anonymised. This use may involve processing by Google outside the European Union.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data, we ask again.
